Our Vision
Philoxenia is a state of mind and a way of life with which Greeks have been nurtured over the centuries. In more recent times, many have applied its principles in business ventures that make up what we today call the “tourism industry.” It is also a subject of anthropological and sociological study, and not beyond scrutiny; the notion that philoxenia is part of the “Greek DNA”.
Precisely because of this deeply rooted DNA we want to make every guest feel like a Greek, a Lerian, even if only for a few days. Because when you feel like a Lerian, you feel at home. You ARE at home. That is what we want to convey to as many people as possible. Because it is that very feeling of home, or better ‘Philoxenia’, that makes Leros our island, an island of the world!!
